I love you and I show it by being away from you,

by not being there when you cry,

by not asking what is making you sad

I love you and I show it by my silence,

for it is not my words you so truly need..

but the words of the one true Savior

I love you that's why I make you look at the cross,

and not my face...

For it is not me who will fill the void in your heart

but the one who shed his blood for you...

I love you, that's why I seek your highest good,

that which is you being drawn closer to him,

and not to me...

I love you, so I give you my silence,

and I shun you from my presence...
